Our lead consultant, Wayne Jaffe, BSc. MB Ch.B. Dipl. EBOPRAS FRCS FRCS(Plast) has practising privileges in leading private hospitals in the North-West. He is a practising NHS reconstructive surgeon, appears on the specialist register of the General Medical Council, holds the specialist FRCS qualification and is a member of BAPS (British Association of Plastic Surgery). He also holds the specific British FRCS (plastic surgery) qualification as well as the European qualification EBOPRAS. Born in Salford, where his father, a GP, was Mayor. Mr Jaffe trained at the universities of St Andrews and Manchester. After a broad surgical training he entered specialist plastic surgery training in London, the East Midlands and the North-West. He undertook an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Wellington Hospital in London. As well as a number of papers on plastic surgery subjects he has also produced videos on specialist plastic surgery, winning national and international prizes.
