Every operation is as individual as you are. Carrying out more than one procedure depends upon the type of surgery you require, and is decided upon at the discretion of your surgeon.
How long will I stay in hospital?
With modern technology many cosmetic operations can be carried out on a short-stay basis, some even as a day patient. Your surgeon will advise you.
Can I plan my treatment to my convenience?
Yes, our surgeons operate on a regular basis, allowing the flexibility to book your surgery at a mutually convenient time.
Who takes care of me during my stay?
Your consultant surgeon and consultant anaesthetist lead a dedicated and highly skilled team of clinical nurses who will take care of you through every stage of your procedure. Each hospital also has a resident doctor who is available 24 hours as day.
What payment options are available?
A variety of payment options are available: cash, cheque or credit card.
How much will it all cost?
An indication of likely costs for your surgery will be provided on request. A fee will be charged for your initial consultation. After your consultation a written quotation will be sent to you. This details the complete procedure and the total cost, including the consultant's and anaesthetist's fees.
What are the risks of my surgery?
At your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to raise any questions you may have regarding your treatment. Please remember that all surgery carries an element of risk, but many patients have experienced remarkable benefits through cosmetic surgery.
Will I need to visit my GP?
We advise you to discuss your proposed surgery with your GP, who will provide you with a GP referral letter. It is likely that your consultant would in any event wish to contact your GP.
Are there complications with cosmetic surgery?
All surgery, be it cosmetic or other, has a risk of a complication. By using proper and careful techniques the risk of complications can be minimized. It is important that you understand fully the procedure and any attendant risks beforehand. Your consultant will explain the risks of any procedure in understandable terms.
